Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) 7.x

Windows Server 2008 R2

First, verify that the Web Server (IIS) Role is installed. If not, install it and set it up as detailed below.

Verify that the Web Server (IIS) Role is installed

From your desktop, go to Start > All Programs > Administrative Tools > Server Manager.

Examine the "Roles Summary" (center section). 

If "Web Server (IIS)" is listed, proceed to “Set Web Server Role Services Options.” 

If "Web Server (IIS)" is not listed, you must install it. Refer to Microsoft’s online documentation for assistance, if needed. 

Once you have installed the web server, proceed to “Set Web Server Role Services Options."

Additional Configuration of Internet Information Services 7 Role Services

CyberStore requires certain Internet Information Services (IIS) 7 Role Services to be installed.

Verify that all required Web Server (IIS) Role Services are installed

From your desktop, go to Start > All Programs > Administrative Tools > Server Manager.

Select "Roles." 

Locate and expand the "Web Server (IIS)" section. 

Expand the "Role Services" section. 

Verify that the required role services are installed using the images and text below. 

If all required role services are installed, exit from the "Server Manager." 

If all the required role services are not installed, click “Add Role Services” (right section). 

Check/uncheck the appropriate IIS role services to install according to the images and text below:

       

 

 

When you are ready, click Next. 

Review the Windows information box presented. 

Click Install and wait for the process to complete.

Note:

You may need to restart the system for the changes to take effect. You do not need to restart the system immediately, but the CyberStore installation program cannot run until this has occured.
