Shipping Methods
The "Shipping Methods Maintenance List" allows you to maintain your shipping methods and the information about them.
To access the list in the Console menu, go to Setup > Shipping Methods.
When the application has loaded, the "Shipping Methods Maintenance List" appears on the screen.
When you click Edit, the "Shipping Method Maintenance" pop-up appears. This pop-up contains the following tab:
General
Use the General tab to maintain general shipping method information and to configure options.
The General tab contains the following elements:

| Instruction Code | A multi-character code indicating the selected shipping method. |
| Instruction Code Description | The full description of shipping method. |
| Calculation Type | A drop down box providing calculation options for Customer shipping price. |
| Carrier Code | The identifier for the shipping provider. |
| Carrier Method Name | The type of service the shipping provider is using for the Items. |
| Required Weight for Method | The required weight for the selected shipping method. |
| Alternate Method When Below Required Weight | An alternated shipping method for when the Customer's products are below the required weight. A default method for orders of this type can also be set. |
| Adjust Carrier's Shipping Rates | A box that, when checked, allows you to manually enter costs of shipping. |
| Adjustment Type | A drop down box providing options for adjustments typesthat can be applied to the the provider's shipping price. |
| Value Type | A drop down box providing options for how an adjustment is going to be applied to the provider's shipping price. |
| Amount | The total calculated shipping expenses at the adjusted rate. |
| Use Secondary Adjustment Matrix | Available when calculation type is either Percentage or TotalSum. The Secondary Adjustment Matrix is the location in which the Percentage and TotalSum calculations are conducted and manipulated. |
Note:
Be sure to click the 
button when you are finished making any edits.
When you click the Add button, the "Choose a SYSPRO Shipping Method" pop-up appears, allowing you to choose a new shipping method.
Upon clicking on a desired method, you are directed to another "Shipping Method" pop-up in which you can add more information on this method.
This pop-up contains the following tab:
General
Use the General tab within the pop-up to add or edit information for each individual shipping method.
The General tab contains the following elements:

| Instruction Code | A character code for the SYSPRO shipping method. |
| Instruction Code Description | A detailed description of the Instruction Code. |
| Calculation Type | The type of calculation of shipping price for the Customer. |
