State Maintenance

The "State Maintenance" screen allows you to maintain the state information.

To access the screen in the Console menu, go to Setup > Geographic Setup > State Maintenance.

When the application has loaded, the "State Maintenance" screen pops up.

 

 

Maintaining State Data

The "State Maintenance" screen contains the following tab:

General

The General Tab

Use the the General tab to maintain general state information and to configure options.

 

 

The General tab contains the following elements:

General Information
FIPS State Code The Federal Information Processing Standards State Code. 
State Display Name The name of the state.
State Display Abbr The state abbreviation. (Often the same as FIPS State Code)
Country The country where the state is located.
Hide from State Drop Down Option that prevents the Customer from selecting this state from the drop-down list.

Note:

Be sure to click the button when you are finished making any edits.
 

Browse States

To search for a particular state, click the "Find" (  ) button. The "Browse" screen pops up.

 

 

Add States

 To add a new state, click the "New" (  ) button.

Remove States

To remove a state and all of the information about it, click the "Delete" button ().
