Shipping Address Maintenance

Shipping Address Maintenance allows eligible on-file B2B shoppers to add, review, edit, and delete saved SYSPRO ship-to addresses from Account Settings and multi-step checkout.

Prerequisites

The feature requires:

  • An on-file B2B Account linked to the applicable SYSPRO customer.
  • The site-wide shipping-address update setting enabled.
  • Customer Class and Account permissions that allow the shopper to maintain addresses.
  • A multi-step checkout experience when address maintenance is provided during checkout.

This feature is separate from Allow Drop Ship, which allows a shopper to enter a one-time shipping address for an order.

Configure the permission hierarchy

Address maintenance is controlled at three levels:

  1. In Site Manager > A/R Integration, enable Enable Shipping Address Updates for the site.
  2. In Customers > Customer Class Maintenance, set the default address-update permission for Accounts in the class.
  3. In Customers > Account Maintenance, grant or restrict the capability for a specific Account when an override is required.

The site-wide setting establishes availability. The Customer Class supplies the default, and Account Maintenance provides the Account-specific decision.

Expected shopper behavior

When all applicable permissions allow maintenance, the shopper can manage saved ship-to records through Account Settings. The address grid supports paging, page-size selection, searching visible columns, highlighted matches, and save-status feedback.

During multi-step checkout, the shopper can select from available shipping addresses. If the shopper selects an address, continues, and returns to Step 1, CyberStore places that address first in the grid and preselects it. The initial Step 1 view presents the default billing and shipping addresses.

See Manage B2B Shipping Addresses for the shopper workflow.

SYSPRO integration

CyberStore uses the applicable SYSPRO e.net operations to maintain customer and ship-to records:

Operation Role
ARSSCS Adds, edits, or deletes Customer records used by the feature.
ARSSMA Adds, edits, or deletes multiple Customer ship-to records.

Validate configuration

Use a non-production B2B Account that belongs to the intended Customer Class:

  1. Confirm Account Settings displays saved shipping addresses when all three permission levels allow updates.
  2. Add or edit a test address and verify the save-status result.
  3. Confirm the change is represented correctly in SYSPRO.
  4. Start multi-step checkout and select a non-default address.
  5. Continue, return to Step 1, and confirm the selected address is first and preselected.
  6. Restrict the Account permission and verify that address-maintenance actions are no longer available.
