Available Operations

CyberStore Operations perform administrative work through the Operation Agent. An Operation can run immediately, at a scheduled time, or on a recurring interval, making it suitable for processing that should occur outside an interactive Management Console request.

Operations are created and monitored in Tools > Operation Center. The Operation definition selects the Command, schedule, Site, and optional Agent Parameters. Operation Center also provides the Scheduler, processing history, live Agent Log Watcher, and notification settings.

Only Operations in a waiting state can be edited. Once an Operation begins processing, CyberStore allows it to finish even if an administrator attempts to edit or delete it or stop the Operation Agent.

Operations in this section

The available operation topics cover the following administrative jobs:

Each operation has its own Command and may support Agent Parameters that restrict its scope or change its processing behavior. Use only parameters documented for the selected Command.

Before scheduling an operation

Confirm that the Operation Agent is running and that the job’s scope is appropriate for the Site. For recurring work, consider the processing volume and how often the underlying information changes. Configure Operation Center notifications when administrators need confirmation of success, errors, cancellation, failure, or unexpected agent termination.

After an Operation runs, use Operation History to review its summary and full message details. Use Agent Log Watcher when real-time processing visibility is needed while the agent is active.
