Item Messages
Use the Messages tab to override catalog-level on-hand, lead-time, and ship-date messages for the selected item.
| Setting | Description |

| Custom On Hand Quantity Messages | Overrides the default available, unavailable, limited, and unlimited messages. Use [QTY] and [UOM] for calculated quantity and unit values. |
| Custom Lead Time Message | Overrides the default lead-time message. Use [LEADTIME] to display the calculated range. |
| Lead Time Padding | Adds an item-specific upper range. It does not use the site-wide minimum lead-time or padding values. |
| Ship Date | Number of days until shipment; it can appear in Shopping Cart line details. |
