Update Customers from SYSPRO

Use the Update Customers from SYSPRO Operation to refresh the SYSPRO-owned portion of CyberStore Customer records from the SYSPRO Accounts Receivable customer master. The Command is UpdateAllCustomersSYSPRO.

This Operation can update every Customer or limit processing to selected Customer numbers, Customer Classes, or both.

Configure the Operation

Open Tools > Operation Center and select Add. On the General tab, enter a meaningful description and choose the UpdateAllCustomersSYSPRO Command.

Update Customers from SYSPRO Operation

Use Agent Schedule to run the Operation immediately or at a specified date and time. On Settings, select the Site and enter any Agent Parameters needed to limit the work. Leave both scope parameters empty only when every CyberStore Customer should be refreshed.

Limit the processing scope

The supported scope parameters can be used separately or together. Enter each parameter type on its own line in Agent Parameters.

Parameter Purpose Example
Customers Limits processing to a comma-separated list of Customer numbers. Customers: 0000002, 0000038, S123456
Classes Limits processing to a comma-separated list of CyberStore Customer Class names. Use all to include all Classes. Classes: Wholesaler, Dealer, Special

What happens during processing

The Operation Agent determines the Customers in scope, creates an Operation Transaction, and processes each Customer individually. CyberStore queries current customer information from SYSPRO and updates the SYSPRO-maintained values in the corresponding CyberStore Customer record.

Problems encountered during a Customer’s Transaction Cycle are recorded. When processing completes, Operation Center stores the transaction details, identifies Customers associated with errors, and sends notifications according to the Operation Center settings.

Once processing begins, the Operation cannot be interrupted through normal Operation Center edit, delete, or agent-stop actions. Confirm the Site and scope before starting a large refresh.

Review the result

After the Operation finishes, open Operation History and review its Summary and Message details. Investigate any Customers reported with errors before assuming that the selected scope is fully synchronized.
