FedEx OAuth Shipping
Use the FedEx OAuth Shipping Provider integration to request FedEx REST API shipping-rate quotes during checkout. The FedEx OAuth provider can be configured alongside the existing FedEx provider; select the provider that corresponds to the required FedEx integration.
Before you begin
Confirm that the FedEx Shipping Module (FED) is licensed and obtain the FedEx account information required for the selected environment.
- FedEx Client ID and Client Secret.
- FedEx Account Number, Shipper Number, and Billing Number.
- FedEx test and production API endpoints.
- A valid ship-from address.
- Shipping weight unit, conversion factor, and default order weight appropriate for the Site.
Configure General settings
Open Setup > Shipping Providers, add a provider, and complete the General tab. Select FEDEXOAUTH as the Provider Type and enter a descriptive provider name.

Configure API settings
Complete the API Specifics tab by using the FedEx account values for the selected test or production environment.

Use endpoints supplied for the installed connector and the configured environment. Do not use a test endpoint for production checkout.
Configure shipping methods
Open Setup > Shipping Methods and create or update the methods that use the FedEx OAuth provider. Set the calculation type to Provider, select the FedEx OAuth provider, and choose a service from the configured FedEx OAuth method list.
The selected service must be valid for the FedEx account and the shipment being rated. For shared Shipping Method fields, see Shipping Methods.
Validate rates
Before enabling Live mode, test the configured provider with representative orders.
- Confirm rates for expected FedEx services and account-negotiated rates.
- Test valid domestic destinations and any supported regional variations.
- Test light, heavy, zero-weight, and multi-line carts.
- Confirm the selected ship-from source produces the expected origin address.
- Review unavailable-service, invalid-address, and invalid-credential results.
Compare the CyberStore result with the FedEx account or approved FedEx test result before changing Connection Mode to Live.
Notes and limitations
The FedEx OAuth provider supports shipping-rate quotes. It does not provide FedEx OAuth label creation, shipment creation, cancellation, or tracking.
