Working with Items
Building a usable CyberStore catalog involves more than importing stock codes. The work begins with catalog planning, continues through the relationship between SYSPRO and CyberStore, and finishes with the descriptions, characteristics, associations, and images that help shoppers understand what they can buy.
For a new catalog, begin with Loading Items to CyberStore. The remaining guides can then be used according to the kind of catalog work being performed:
- Synchronizing Item Data with SYSPRO explains when item information is refreshed and how to choose an appropriate synchronization method.
- Updating Item Information describes the content and relationships that turn imported records into useful storefront pages.
- Updating Item Data with Excel supports controlled bulk changes to existing CyberStore item data.
- Working with Models explains when related SKUs should be presented as variations of one product.
- Associated Items introduces the different ways products can be connected for shoppers.
- Item and Category Images explains the available image roles and where they are maintained.
- Preparing Images provides practical file-format, sizing, and naming guidance before upload.
