Item Image Maintenance

From an item’s Item Images action, maintain the images associated with that item.

Photo 1 is normally used for smaller thumbnail-style presentations, such as listings and search results. Photo 2 is normally the larger, higher-quality image used on item-detail pages.

Select Browse, choose an image, then select Upload. To replace an existing photo, remove it first. For best results, use images smaller than 75 KB.

Detail photos

Select Manage Item Detail Photos to open Image File Manager. Upload through Browse and Upload, or drag files into the manager; dragged files upload one at a time. The manager shows each uploaded image’s filename, type, size, and dimensions.

When a front-end item display uses image zoom, CyberStore creates thumbnail and detail sizes from uploaded detail photos. Use a sufficiently high-quality source image for zoom. Without detail photos, or with zoom disabled, CyberStore uses the configured featured photo; it can fall back to a category photo when enabled. Item images are used by catalog listing, featured-item, Hot Buy, item-detail, related-item, cart, and data-display presentations.
