Associated Items

CyberStore can connect products in several ways so shoppers can discover alternatives, complementary products, or items the business wants to highlight. The appropriate association depends on the relationship being communicated.

Related items are products that make sense to show in conjunction with the current item. They may be alternatives, similar choices, or products shoppers commonly consider during the same decision. Maintain them through the item’s Related Items and Accessories action.

Accessories

Accessories complement the main product. In addition to selecting the accessory, CyberStore allows relationship-specific information such as a discount, displayed unit of measure, and description to be maintained for the association.

Other merchandising relationships

CyberStore can also present products as Hot Buys, Featured Items, or items bought with another item. These concepts serve different merchandising purposes and should be used only where the corresponding site feature is configured.

The goal is not to attach every possible product. Choose associations that make the shopper’s next step clearer: compare an alternative, complete a solution, or discover a genuinely relevant recommendation.
