Promotion General Settings
Use the General tab to define the promotion’s eligibility period, discount, use limit, and optional free shipping.
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Promotion Type | Order, Quote, or Service Request. |
| Promotion Number | Case-insensitive code entered by shoppers. |
| Expiration Date and Number of Uses | Ends availability by date or allowed account uses. |
| Discount Type | Dollar, Percent, or Price List. |
| Discount Value and Minimum Order Value | Amount/percentage and qualifying spend. |
| Free Shipping | Adds free shipping; a free-shipping-only promotion still uses a 0 discount value. |
A percentage promotion can be used once. A flat discount remains available until its balance is exhausted.
