Pricing Exclusive to CyberStore

CyberStore can adjust a SYSPRO-derived price or add a storefront charge without changing the underlying SYSPRO price. Use these features for web-specific discounts, fees, promotions, relative-price presentation, and accessory offers.

Item and category discounts

A CyberStore discount reduces the lower applicable Customer or Discount Price by an amount or percentage. Discounts can be assigned at the item and category levels. When compounding is disabled, an item-level discount takes precedence over a category discount. When compounding is enabled, CyberStore applies both discounts in sequence.

For example, with compounding enabled, a 10% category discount followed by an additional 10% item discount applies the reductions in sequence. Configure the item value in Item Maintenance > Pricing, the category value in Category Maintenance > Pricing, and the compounding rule in Site Manager > Catalog Configuration > Price Settings.

Surcharge fees

A surcharge adds an amount or percentage relative to an item’s Web Price. CyberStore can blend the surcharge into the displayed Web Price or itemize it as a miscellaneous line on the order. A surcharge can always apply or apply only when the shopper selects a ship-from warehouse other than the default item warehouse.

Item-level surcharge settings take precedence over category-level settings. Maintain them on the applicable Item or Category Maintenance Pricing tab.

Web promotions

Web promotions apply during checkout when their qualifying conditions are met. Depending on configuration, a promotion can use a percentage discount, a fixed amount, a linked Price List, or a shipping benefit.

A fixed-value promotion can retain an unused balance for later orders until the balance is exhausted or the promotion expires. A percentage promotion is single-use. Maintain promotion codes and eligibility in Items > Promotion Maintenance.

Promotion capabilities

Promotion behavior depends on the configured discount method.

Method Behavior
Fixed amount Reduces the order by a configured amount. The value can be partially consumed and reused until exhausted or expired.
Percentage Reduces the qualifying order total by a percentage and is limited to one use per promotion instance.
Price List Applies prices from the linked Price List at the line level.
Free shipping Removes the shipping cost. When used without another discount, configure a zero discount value.

Promotions can also define minimum-order requirements, expiration dates, usage limits, and Customer or category restrictions. A shopper must enter the promotion code during checkout, and the resulting discount appears separately in the order totals.

Storefront discount indicators

Item and category discounts apply automatically without shopper input. The storefront presents the adjusted amount as the Web Price. A configured image can also identify the discounted item as a visual badge.

Relative price per unit

SYSPRO provides stocking, alternate, and other UOMs. CyberStore can show a Relative UOM beside the selected sales UOM so shoppers can compare a higher-volume package using a familiar per-unit value. The relative value is presentation information; the selected sales UOM remains the ordering basis.

Configure the Relative UOM, conversion formula, and conversion value in Item Maintenance > Pricing. The storefront pricing component must also be configured to present the value.

Accessory price breaks

An item designated as an accessory can receive a flat or percentage price break when the shopper buys it with its associated main item. The shopper qualifies only when both items are purchased together.

Maintain the item relationship and accessory discount through Related Items and Accessory Maintenance. See Associated Items for the broader relationship workflow.

These adjustments still depend on a valid underlying price and the visibility rules in Access to Pricing.
