SYSPRO Pricing Supported by CyberStore
CyberStore uses supported SYSPRO pricing methods to calculate customer- and item-specific prices. Configure the applicable customers, stock codes, price codes, discounts, contracts, and TPM rules in SYSPRO; CyberStore applies them in the context of the active shopper and item.
Default Customer Price
The Default Customer Price is the item price for the Customer assigned as the site’s Default Customer. Anonymous shoppers see this price when anonymous pricing is enabled. Select the Default Customer in Site Manager > Site Configuration > Website.
Suggested retail pricing controls the price used as the storefront’s list or comparison price. The application-wide method is configured in Tools > Application Settings > Global Cache.
| Method | Source and behavior |
|---|---|
| List Price | Uses the item’s List Price from SYSPRO. |
| Specific Customer Price | Uses the price returned for the configured source Customer. |
| Custom | Uses a value maintained in CyberStore through an item import or Item Maintenance. This is the default method. |
See Application Settings for the current configuration reference.
Standard pricing methods
These methods derive the applicable price or discount from the stock code and Customer context in SYSPRO.
| Method | Behavior |
|---|---|
Coded Pricing (S) | Assigns the Customer a price code. CyberStore returns the item price associated with that code when the shopper uses that Customer. A price code can serve multiple Customers. |
Quantity Discount (Y) | Changes the unit price at defined quantity breaks for an item or group of items. The storefront can present the breaks as a quantity-pricing table. |
| Extended Pricing | Uses the stock code’s pricing category, from A through Z, to select the corresponding Customer price or discount code. The resulting code locates a price-code or discount-table entry. This provides as many as 26 price or discount codes per Customer. |
Contract quantity pricing provides quantity breaks through a SYSPRO contract rather than the standard quantity-discount setup.
Contract pricing
A contract calculates the pre-tax price from a qualifying Customer or buying group and a qualifying product group or stock code. A contract therefore requires at least one party criterion—Customer or buying group—and at least one product criterion—product group or stock code.
| Code | Contract method | Calculation basis |
|---|---|---|
C | Coded Pricing | Uses the SYSPRO price code assigned to the contract. |
L | List Price Less Percent | Applies a percentage reduction to List Price. |
D | List Price Less Chain Discount | Applies a chain of discounts to List Price. |
P | Coded Less Chain Discount | Applies a chain of discounts to the contract Price Code. |
U | Coded Less Unit Discount Value | Applies a unit discount value to the contract Price Code. |
F | Flat Pricing | Assigns a fixed price and UOM to the Customer or qualifying group. |
Q | Quantity Pricing | Selects the contract price using the ordered quantity. |
Trade Promotion Management pricing
SYSPRO Trade Promotion Management (TPM) can adjust stock-code pricing for qualifying Customers and promotions. CyberStore supports the following TPM results:
| Code | Supported result |
|---|---|
T | TPM promotion price at stock-code level. |
M | Percentage-off TPM promotion at stock-code level. |
N | TPM discount calculated by quantity. |
W | TPM discount calculated by mass. |
V | TPM discount calculated by volume. |
Accrual-type TPM promotions are ignored. For a TPM result to appear, the Customer must use TPM pricing in SYSPRO and the item must use Trade Promotion Management Pricing on its Item Maintenance Pricing tab. Otherwise, CyberStore falls back to Standard SYSPRO Pricing.
Invoice-line discounts
Invoice-line discounts apply a percentage reduction for a Customer. Net and gross discounts can produce the same final subtotal but are calculated at different stages.
| Code | Method | Calculation |
|---|---|---|
N | Net Invoice Line Discount | Reduces each pre-tax item line, then adds the discounted lines. For lines of $100 and $50 with a 10% discount, the discounted lines are $90 and $45, for a $135 subtotal. |
G | Gross Invoice Line Discount | Adds the pre-tax item lines, then reduces the subtotal. For lines of $100 and $50 with a 10% discount, CyberStore reduces the $150 subtotal to $135. |
